CENTRE POINT, LONDON

White phallus of power poking the sky
Under homeless, shoppers streak Oxford Street
Virgin racks jazz-ma-tazz
And books bloat to Charing Cross

Everything under penthouse suite
Sucked in like magnet to stairs floors windows
Spartan and Marble crustaceans reek of Greek
And man glows to spark phone/fax/e-mail net

Peek at him, the innocent body
Curves of devices,
Speaking to the old gods that illuminate
Watch how he talks outside his suit
Under glass he has naked ambitions
To submit himself to earth.
